I am utterly fascinated by relationships and how they work. During my out-on-the-town days, I could be found either... A. tossing my head back to laugh enthusiastically with someone ... or ... B. intent on listening to sorrid details of their love life. Friends would often comment that they didn't understand why complete strangers felt compelled to share intimate anecdotes with me... or why I wasn't on the dance floor with them but rather sitting very intensely in a corner discussing the state of someone's relationship.

Communication is like the sun and the rain which makes us grow. Sharing experiences bonds us, both in the listening and in the telling. Listening gives a sense of brotherhood... "oh, you're going through that too?"... telling gives us a sense of purging... and lightens the load. We learn so much from eachother and I believe sincere communication is really one of the most beautiful gifts we can give.
